QED Automation was founded by automation engineer Žarko Metikoš, who grew the company from hands-on site work in European automotive and process plants into a cluster of complementary companies across Croatia and the region.

Today, QED serves as the single point of contact for engineering, production and procurement — combining in-house expertise in PCS7, EPLAN and robotics with a trusted network of specialised partners covering cabinet manufacturing, skid units, metal assemblies, process equipment and piping.

This model positions QED as a scalable hub for engineering, production and commissioning — capable of handling projects of greater scope and complexity from a single, accountable contact.

Control and power cabinet design to major OEM standards using EPLAN P8 and Pro Panel. Sistema safety calculations, heat dissipation analysis, documentation and spare parts lists.

Cabinet Manufacturing
Produced through our cluster partner network for automotive, marine, pharmaceutical, offshore and logistics. QED manages engineering specifications, procurement and quality assurance. Cluster capacity >10M€/year.

Process Equipment & Metal
Skid units, heat exchangers, pipework, process vessels and metal assemblies — sourced through our regional cluster. Experienced in pharma, GMP and GAMP environments. QED manages engineering, procurement and QA documentation.
